The Eiffel Tower and nearby carousel
Had an idea today while walking down the Left Bank of the river Seine tonight. I thought it would be so cool to have a blog/show called "Beginner's Luck." In it people would start up new things- enterprises, hobbies, campaigns and so on...really cool things and we would follow them. As I write about it now hours later it's starting to sound a little lame-like surely somebody is already doing it, but that could be because I'm tired. And, besides, somebody already has the URL. So, maybe I could do it here. I'm not using this blog at the moment and it kind of fits.
I read something earlier today about how if you are going to write a blog then it should be about something about which you are endlessly passionate. I am endlessly passionate, but it's about different stuff. So different stuff should be the focus... no focus should be the focus! I like that.
Largely my interests are about children's play and wonder and beauty. Like here in Paris. I can't stop taking pictures. And sometimes it's of the lamest things, but I love it. I'm obsessed. I post my pictures on Facebook, but eventually they get lost there and I want more people to see them. Maybe they do, but I can't tell if they're getting to much of anybody.
So, it's almost 1AM and a wonderful soft rain is falling. We were on a boat on the Seine when it started to rain. No umbrella. Now home, cozy in bed, think I'll drift off to sleep pondering my latest get rich and do good scheme.
